The Cité de l'Histoire opened in January 2023. This unique venue offers visitors the chance to travel back in time and explore history through innovative technologies. The Cité de l'Histoire covers 6,000 m² and features several different spaces. The Cité de l'Histoire offers an immersive experience called “La Clef des Siècles” (The Key to the Centuries). Cutting-edge technology provides a unique sensory and visual experience in the 17 rooms of the tour, which trace 12 centuries of history.

The Ellipse 360° is a video show projected in a 700 m² arena, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the heart of great historical epics. The images come to life around the audience for a unique experience.

The Cité de l'Histoire also offers workshops for children. At the end of your visit, or simply out of curiosity, you can visit the Cité de l'Histoire's shop and bookstore. You can also enjoy a lunch break at the restaurant located in the Cité de l'Histoire.
