Cromawaltz

Artist: Mattia Paco Rizzi (Studio Grriz)
Creation date: 2026
Installation date: 2026
Technique: sculpture

Composed of steel, aluminum and composite panel, the artist Mattia Paco Rizzi transformed a building into a real living and colorful urban sculpture. This new work, located close to the Grande Arche, represents a wavy and colorful silhouette.

The technique used: two frames that overlap to create an optical moiré effect. The vibration of colors transforms the perception of those who move around the work. It comes alive without ever actually moving, whether during the day or at night, thanks to its prolonged lighting. The work combines art, architecture and optical illusion.
