Les Quatre têtes

Artist: Emily Young (1951)
Installation date: 2002
Techniques : Marble

Four faces as four landmarks. The four sculpted heads are located, one in front of the entrance to the arch triangle, and the other 3 in each of the buildings that make up the complex. Humanizing a seemingly disembodied space, they were installed in 2002 at the initiative of Standard Life.

A word about the artist

Born in London into a family of politicians, writers and artists, Emily Young chose this third path. She spent many years traveling all over the world, developing a particularly rich artistic vision in the process. Beginning to express herself through painting, she chose to work in stone after the 80s, finding in the material an artistic form that she nourishes with works now exhibited around the world.
