This square, lined with tall modern buildings, is a landmark of La Défense. It takes its name from the huge sculpture of an iris, "Le Moretti", which sits at the center of the square. Place de l'Iris is a must for La Défense workers, who come here for their lunch break or for an evening stroll after work. The square is surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars and stores, making it a convivial place to relax.

Since the 1990s, the square has been adorned with spring-blooming Japanese cherry trees. Between April and May, these small trees offer superb white or pink flowers. In autumn, their foliage takes on beautiful yellow or red hues. A natural spectacle that changes with the seasons. A friendly, colorful place to take your mind off things!
