Completion: 2031

The winning project for the latest Empreintes site, Demi-Lune, led by Linkcity and Crédit Immobilier Corporate et Promotion, was selected by the jury in February 2024.

The Demi-Lune site

Located in Puteaux, Demi-Lune is close to La Grande Arche and the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center. Tomorrow, the site will be connected to the Rose de Cherbourg, Croissant, and Parc Sud operations.

The Demi-Lune Project

On a site marked by road infrastructure, the project will enable the creation of a new iconic green space, accompanied by a wide variety of programs, and will serve as a laboratory for creating France's first low-carbon high-rise building.

The project is based on three fundamental principles:

A floor

A green hill will be created across the entire southern part of the site. This bold landscaping feature defines the entire urban approach of the project: more than a third of the land area will be open ground, with over 150 tall trees. The park will offer paths to the various reference levels of the neighborhood and will constitute a precious island of freshness and a reservoir of biodiversity in the heart of the urban landscape. It will enhance all the activities of the outdoor spaces at the base. The hill will offer a variety of settings: sports, outdoor cinema, contemplation, picnics on the hill, outdoor reading, and more.

A 3+1 base

The active base is treated vertically, linking all reference levels to the existing or redeveloped public space, from Boulevard Franck Kupka to the La Défense forecourt, via the redeveloped and calmer Boulevard Patrick Devedjian.

Three hubs mark the base of the buildings:

  • 5,000 m² “Food” hub at the base of the high-rise tower: a gourmet market featuring local products from the Ile-de-France region, as well as terraces
  • A 3,000 m² “Culture” hub: with a modular cultural hall;
  • A “Sports” hub covering approximately 3,000 m² (including 1,000 m² outdoors) at the base of the student residence: an indoor/outdoor climbing center.

In addition to these three areas, a fourth area of 2,500 m², dedicated to education and training, will be located in a section of the tower connected to the student residence, forming a portico above the new Demi-Lune square. Each of these areas will have outdoor extensions on the hill for additional uses.

A sky

  • A tower approximately 90 meters high and covering approximately 27,500 m², located at the corner of La Défense square and Boulevard Patrick Devedjian, will house a hotel, a school, and offices (minority share).
  • A first building approximately 50 meters high will open between the new Place Demi-Lune and Boulevard Devedjian, which will house a 12,000 m² student residence;
  • A second building approximately 50 meters high, to the west of the site, will have a façade facing the square and will be supported by stilts on the hill. It will house a Neoz program of rental housing with services covering 12,000 m².

These three programs will feature active ground floors.

For the two mid-rise buildings, the consortium is aiming for RE 2020/2028, while for the high-rise building, at this stage of the study, the consortium is aiming for RE 2020/2025.
