The Yvonne Kerzrého school group: 20 nursery and elementary classes and two recreation centers

The school complex is spread over three platforms that are as versatile, adaptable, and open as possible. Each platform has a recreation area: from the natural, tree-lined courtyard on the ground floor to the roof terrace under its pergola. The pergola has a dual benefit: it provides shade for students and, thanks to its photovoltaic roofing, produces energy for the building.

Responding to urban challenges, it forms a built frontage on the street and opens onto the railway garden. The schools are organized around a large wooded atrium that brings together the different levels and provides wide circulation areas. It is an active space, designed to be used as often as possible in order to maximize the number of activities.

With large windows on the outside to provide a healthy learning environment, the school complex is built with natural and bio-based materials such as wood.
