Inspire, an innovative timber-frame building
Located in the Bellini Arago district, the Inspire building is part of a rapidly changing area. The wooden-framed building will rise seven stories high and offer 22,300 m² of floor space divided into 2,600 m² units, as well as 1,400 m² of green rooftop space and 550 m² of accessible terraces for its occupants.
The building's surroundings will feature a beautiful 340 m² open space, which will allow for the planting of around thirty trees.
With its crown-shaped design, Inspire will feature a monumental atrium at its heart. Architect Anthony Béchu wanted to give the building a majestic entrance and a double-height lobby designed to be the nerve center of the building: a place for people to meet and socialize.
On the ground floor of the building, but independent of its operations, a fitness center and a brasserie will complete the range of services on offer.
In terms of infrastructure, the building has a mezzanine and two basement levels housing a delivery area, 235 car parking spaces, a dedicated parking area for electric cars, 120 motorcycle spaces, and a 338 m² room for bicycles.
A controlled carbon footprint
Inspire aims to have a low carbon footprint. The building's frame will be made of wood, a material sourced from eco-managed forests whose thermal, hygrometric, and acoustic properties are well established and help reduce the building's carbon footprint.
The building is aiming for triple environmental certification: HQE Sustainable Buildings, BREEAM, and OSMOZ, a certification focused on the living environment. At the same time, two labels are also being targeted: the E+C- label with an E2C1 level and the BBC Effinergie label.
A universe designed around conviviality
The building will be able to accommodate up to 1,800 employees. The offices are also designed to promote flex-office working and will offer green spaces for employees, wide staircases with landings for informal exchanges, and a duplex company restaurant. The building's lobby will be equipped with a snack bar and a juice bar. The rooftop terrace will also be a meeting space with an area of 2,500 m² open to the outside.
