Starting in 2024, the Groues neighborhood in Nanterre, partly made up of former brownfield sites, will give way to a lively neighborhood, fully integrated into the city and connected to La Défense and the higher education institutions in the area. Well served by the RER E and, later, by the future line 15 of the Grand Paris Express, this living space will be the expression of all the proximities in western Île-de-France.
A complementary neighborhood to La Défense, with exceptional transport links
A new address is about to emerge in the immediate vicinity of the Grande Arche de La Défense. The urban redevelopment of Les Groues, an atypical 65-hectare area that has long been isolated, aims to create a balanced neighborhood combining housing, offices, businesses, shops, and public and private facilities. It will be served by the RER E from 2024 and, by 2031, by line 15 of the Grand Paris Express. This neighborhood will also resonate with the Paris La Défense business district and contribute to its attractiveness.
10,500 residents will enjoy pleasant housing in a well-maintained setting where nature will have its place. Scalable business premises and high-quality tertiary facilities will offer 12,000 future employees the opportunity to work in an innovative and vibrant environment, directly linked to the Paris La Défense business district. And it is this site that the VINCI group has chosen to establish its headquarters, L'archipel, with its 4,000 employees.

Seventeen hectares of public space will be developed, including four hectares of green space created on public land. This development will increase the number of trees sevenfold, from 185 to nearly 1,300.
