Versa

Project owners: SCI Village 7 Défense
Architects: Silvio Petraccone & Michel Vodar Architects
Height/floors: 9 floors, Labor Code building
Surface area: 6,860 m²
Completion: 2027
Location: Arche Sud, Valmy district (Puteaux)

Versa is a stand-alone building covering nearly 6,900 m², distinguished by its open architecture and exceptional visibility in the heart of Europe's largest business district. It is a place that brings people together, designed to facilitate encounters. A staircase in the center of the floors intuitively connects the workspaces, services, and terraces.

The reception lobby opens onto a cafeteria, providing a relaxed workspace. The Agora space, with its warm atmosphere, is ideal for informal meetings or moments of relaxation. On the lower level, a 260 m² modular space can be transformed as needed into an amphitheater for communication or a fitness/wellness area where a climbing wall could be installed. It is a place for employees to flourish and for stimulating collective energy. On all floors, accessible, green terraces of approximately 20 m² invite you to settle in for a break or an informal meeting. Finally, on the top floor, a generously sized glass-enclosed space offers a unique setting for gatherings, with a breathtaking view of the Grande Arche de La Défense.

A low-carbon building across its entire value chain

VERSA is a low-carbon building where environmental excellence has guided every decision!

Making this renovation a reservoir of innovation in order to offer a committed workplace has been achieved through four main pillars:

  • Maximizing the conservation of existing materials by adopting a sober design approach that limits unnecessary demolition/reconstruction,
  • Promoting the circular economy both in terms of reuse during the demolition phase, which enabled the reuse of 188 tons of waste, and in the procurement of materials and furniture. As a result, 97% of demolition waste was recycled or reused.
  • Prioritizing low-carbon materials (Alucobond on the facade, which offers limited greenhouse gas emissions and excellent recyclability, and 100% of the wood used is FSC or PEFC certified).
  • Reducing the building's energy consumption, as the renovation has reduced consumption by a factor of three.

VERSA is aiming for several certifications:

  • The highest level of environmental certifications: HQE Sustainable Building “Excellent” and BREEAM “Excellent”;
  • A BBCA “High Performance” low-carbon renovation label;
  • A renovation that complies with the objectives of the 2030, 2040, and 2050 tertiary decrees.
