The Being building is the subject of a project that will be announced shortly by Paris La Défense and GCI, the new owner of Being.

In 2020, Axel Schoenert Architects was commissioned by Gecina to renovate the Being project (formerly Guynemer), located a 5-minute walk from the CNIT in La Défense and its public transport links.

Axel Schoenert founded the Franco-German agency Axel Schoenert Architects with interior designer Zsofia Varnagy in Paris in 1999. With a multicultural team, the agency develops its activities in France and internationally in the fields of architecture, interior design and design. Its priority is to promote an eclectic vision of its work, emphasise the diversity of its projects and develop expertise in new constructions and complex renovations.

The agency is recognised and awarded for its hotel projects, its innovative office projects with iconic performance and design, and also for its coworking projects.

The Nirvana project consists of restructuring the Being building. Work began in spring 2025.
