Between is part of the multi-ownership Les Miroirs complex. It is located on the edge of the boulevard circulaire, and underwent major renovation in 2013 and 2014 following the departure of Atos Origin, its former occupant. In October 2014, Between's renovation enabled its owner to obtain the BBC Rénovation label! The building's façade was lined from the inside, and all technical equipment and architectural trades were selected to meet the label's requirements.
A word about the architect
Before becoming an architect, Henri La Fonta tried his hand at sculpture and painting. However, his training at the École Camondo led him to architecture. He began working in Morocco in 1951, then returned to Paris in the 1960s.
In 1977, he founded his own practice, which quickly made a name for itself thanks to the creativity and conceptual rigor of its designs. At La Défense, Henri La Fonta was the main instigator of the revival of office buildings in the 1980s. The business district owes Les Miroirs and the Pascal and Voltaire towers to him.
