Carré Michelet represents a first step in the renovation of the Michelet district! In 2016, Eurosic launched a vast restructuring operation on its office building in the Michelet district of La Défense. The work involved increasing the office space from 30,000 to 37,000 m², raising the building and separating it from the two adjoining buildings.

After restructuring, the Carré Michelet building, which is not a high-rise building, offers around 37,000 m² of workspace with services (restaurant, business center, fitness center, etc.), with 2,700 m² of extended floor space arranged around a courtyard. Three additional levels have been added to the upper part of the building: the 9th floor has been raised and a mezzanine created to create a large, panoramic attic for new spaces. It features 1,400 m² of outdoor space with terraces, indoor garden and balconies. It offers an unprecedented quality of life, with 90% of the space on the second floor. A great deal of attention has also been devoted to planting the complex.

This first project, in the heart of the Michelet district, will breathe new life into this sector of the business hub, which has been somewhat isolated until now, despite the presence of shops and restaurants at the foot of the buildings (DS CAFE). By the end of 2025-2026, the renovation of the Cours Michelet and its various layers of vegetation will greatly enhance user comfort. Access to the Esplanade metro station will be clearer and pedestrians will be better guided. As for the Boulevard Circulaire, it will be made traversable, to establish continuity between the city of Puteaux and the business district.

Carré Michelet has been awarded the NF HQE Bâtiment Tertiaires Niveaux Exceptionnel NF380/17/1955, Wired Score platinum, Breeam Niveau Excellent and Effinergie labels and certifications.

The architectural firm Crochon Brullmann + Associés becomes Cro&Co Architecture under the leadership of Jean-Luc Crochon, founding associate architect, and architect Nayla Mecattaf, former associate of Renzo Piano. She heads CroMe Studio, a laboratory dedicated to international development. Her main projects include the restructuring of the Cnit in La Défense, the extension of the Foch hospital in Suresnes, the Paris Habitat head office, and the Trinity tower in Paris La Défense.
