The Crédit Coopératif group has restructured its headquarters in Nanterre. This project demonstrates the success of the Terrasses urban project and the interest for companies, initially oriented towards Rue des Trois Fontanot, in “turning” the configuration of their building towards the new public spaces created along the Terrasses urban development. The lobby opens onto Boulevard Pesaro.

Following the demolition of buildings MB5 and MB7, a new 20,800 m² building with eight floors of offices has been constructed, offering capacity for 1,270 people.

Four new spaces have been created: a 200-seat auditorium with an adjoining foyer and cafeteria, a training area on the first floor, sports rooms opening onto a planted patio, storage rooms, and the Documentation Center on the Social and Solidarity Economy.

A word about architects

Calq Architecture is a Canadian architecture firm founded in 1995 by Jean-François St-Onge and Nicolas Gareau. Since its inception, the firm has worked on a wide variety of projects, including institutional buildings, cultural centers, residential projects, and public spaces, notably in La Défense. In fact, they are also the architects of Vermont. Calq Architecture has a rather contemporary and functional approach, while emphasizing harmony with the urban and natural landscapes that surround them. Calq Architecture also systematically integrates sustainability principles into the design of its projects, using eco-friendly materials, reducing energy consumption, and maximizing the use of natural light.

Calq Architecture has received numerous awards for its projects, including the Order of Architects of Quebec's Award of Excellence in Architecture, the Governor General's Award for Architecture, and the Order of Architects of Quebec Foundation's Award for Innovation in Architecture.
