Designed in the early 1990s by the architectural firm Andrault et Parat, The Curve is part of a complex that includes the Le Cap building. The building underwent extensive renovation in 2019-2020. A restaurant, cafeteria, and magnificent rooftop terrace complete the complex. The building benefits from an exceptional location thanks to the complete redevelopment of the Rose de Cherbourg district, including the conversion of the road interchange into a suspended pedestrian walkway and the Hekla tower.

A word about architects

Michel Andrault and Pierre Parat, born in 1926 and 1928 respectively, both trained at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, graduating in 1955. Two years later, they founded ANPAR (Andrault & Parat).

They participated in the search for new forms in the field and made a name for themselves in Paris La Défense. During the 1990s, the agency designed some of the largest skyscrapers in the business district. Société Générale, Séquoia, Kupka, The Curve, and Le Cap—the two architects are well known in the area!
