Les Dauphins are part of a complex dominated by the Gambetta tower and the Maréchal-Leclerc residence, built during the same period. Less striking and less imposing than its neighbors, the complex consists of four almost identical buildings. Their staggered layout mitigates the overall bulkiness of the complex, whose only distinctive features are the intertwined circles on the gables and the arrangement of the spandrels. The Les Dauphins residence comprises more than 200 apartments.
A word about architects
In partnership with Robert Delb, Michel Chesneau and Jean Verola designed four buildings in La Défense: Atlantique, Europe, Winterthur, and Franklin. The Les Dauphins residence is their only project as a duo.
