Visible from both Boulevard Circulaire and the banks of the Seine, Lefebvre Dalloz is nevertheless located in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood overlooking Diderot Park. Built in 1989, the building was originally called Le Balzac. During renovations, it was renamed aKora before taking the name of its occupant, Lefebvre Dalloz.

This non-high-rise building has undergone a complete restructuring with a view to reconciling the mineral and plant worlds. Two south-facing windows carved into the facades bring light and transparency and enhance the view of the park on the Seine side. The building features opening windows, tree-lined loggias on each floor, and a green rooftop with panoramic views. Inside, users can enjoy a company restaurant, a concierge service, a coworking space, and meeting rooms. In total, the building covers more than 16,600 m² spread over nine floors.

It also has numerous certifications: HQE Exploitation Excellent, Breeam Very Good, WiredScore Platinum, and Biodivercity.

A word about the architect

The Bouchaud Architectes agency is also known for its restructuring of the CB21 tower, several iconic Haussmann-style buildings, and the conversion of offices into a luxury hotel on Rue Pierre Charron.

For the architectural firm, the main challenge of this project was to create a visual link between the forecourt in the center of the block and Parc Diderot in order to identify the main entrance. The façade design responds to the kinetic phenomena associated with its view from the circular boulevard of La Défense. The fifth façade is designed as a garden, accessible to employees and protected from the wind by high railings.
