A historical game
Call of Duty, whose name literally means “the call of duty,” was released in 2003. It is a first-person shooter video game, meaning you play as if you were the main character.
While there are various game modes (zombie, multiplayer, campaigns, etc.), the basic premise involves becoming a ground soldier in a fictional modern conflict. From its very first installment, the game has enjoyed success (which it continues to enjoy) thanks to its realistic and immersive graphics. The most recent release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, came out in 2025.
