Work has begun on the future urban park on the La Défense esplanade, providing an opportunity to celebrate the greening of the neighborhood together. Come one, come all!
It's finally happening! Work has begun on the Park, a project to create a 5-hectare urban park along the Esplanade du Général de Gaulle. This monumental green space, one of the largest urban parks on a slab in France, will significantly transform the landscape of La Défense. It's an opportunity to celebrate the future of the neighborhood together with a program of free activities that will delight young and old alike!

Georges Siffredi, President of Paris La Défense and the Hauts-de-Seine department;
Michel Desvigne, Landscape Architect, MDP Agency;
Patrick Ollier, President of the Greater Paris Metropolis;
Vincent Graffin, Regional Director for Seine Francilienne, Seine-Normandie Water Agency;
Sophie Deschiens, President of Île-de-France Nature, Special Delegate for the Circular Region and Animal Welfare Officer for the Île-de-France Region;

11:55 a.m.: Symbolic gesture – “ribbon cutting”

- The Flower Park: arts and crafts, drawing under a pergola with an activity leader;
- The Logo Puzzle: participants draw on a piece of paper, cut out the pieces, and put them together to make a puzzle;
- The face painting stand;
- The little carousel: a wooden merry-go-round.
For older children
- Wooden games;
- Table soccer;
- The Buddiz: a photo booth to capture memories of the day, with novelty glasses available for the occasion.
For everyone
- Popcorn stand;
- Paris La Défense stand to present the Park project.
From 5 p.m.: concert by pop-jazz duo Gin Bee
Gin Bee is the meeting of two musicians with eclectic influences who reinvent pop classics with jazzy sounds. Sofia Bortoluzzi's captivating voice blends with Pierre-Louis Le Port's unique playing to immerse us in a world that is elegant, moving, and lively. A classy and relaxed duo!
