To mark the 80th anniversary of Secours Populaire des Hauts-de-Seine, a large solidarity march is being organized and will stop on Friday, May 26, at the La Défense esplanade for a collection. The aim of the event? To raise awareness of the needs of the most vulnerable while providing collection points to allow everyone to participate.

Thanks to its Solidaritour 92 initiative, Secours Populaire is traveling across the department to organize solidarity and festive walks. In Paris La Défense, the association will be on the forecourt on Friday, September 26 for a major fundraising event. The main aim of the event is to raise awareness, but also to collect financial and food donations to help people in need.

The day begins at 10 a.m. at the Secours Populaire headquarters in Nanterre (rue Docteur Pierre). A presentation of the event will be given to participants, accompanied by breakfast and a marching band. The walk will begin at 10:30 a.m., still accompanied by the marching band, and will end at Paris Nanterre University. Students will be able to take part in the collection and join the walk to the La Défense esplanade if they wish. The arrival is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., and a solidarity aperitif will await participants and partners, accompanied by students from the Pôle Léonard de Vinci. A large collection of donations will therefore be organized on the esplanade around an exhibition of Mustang vehicles.

Secours Populaire Hauts-de-Seine is an association that raises awareness and fights against poverty and exclusion. Thanks to this association and the 23 local structures that support it throughout the region, numerous collections are organized, as well as increasing accessibility in the areas of food, health, culture, vacations, etc.
Secours Populaire 92 has 2,055 active volunteers throughout the department, supported more than 21,000 people in 2024, and assisted nearly 8,100 families in various areas.
