From October 10, 2026, to April 10, 2027, at La Cité de l’Histoire, enjoy an experience that’s as immersive as it is impressive.
Although often pitted against one another, the two artists possess two very distinct talents. Leonardo excels at engineering and keen observation. Michelangelo is methodical, powerful, and masters his medium. At La Cité de l’Histoire, their two artistic styles will clash right before your eyes. An immersive journey into the heart of art
500 years later, the Florentine government commissioned the two artists to create frescoes to adorn the Hall of the Five Hundred in the Palazzo Vecchio. This experience offers a spectacular journey into the heart of the artistic vision of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, whose creativity and styles stand in stark contrast.
Across 1,000 m² of projection surface, you’ll experience:
- a 25-minute immersive film that will immerse you in the masterpieces of both artists;
- a 360° virtual reality zone that will transport you to the streets of Florence, the studios of the two masters, and the Hall of the Five Hundred;
- the “Battle Royale” metaverse, where you’ll save one of the two works in a life-size virtual museum.
- the experience will conclude with the announcement of the winning team. You’ll even be able to take home a souvenir photo.
