Street Art Festival, September 21–22, 2026, La Défense Plaza

Parvis de La Défense
From 21 september 2026 to 22 september 2026

The La Défense Site Association (ASD) is organizing the first edition of its street art festival on the La Défense plaza. Over two days, from Monday, September 21, to Tuesday, September 22, 2026, you can take part in creating a collective, participatory artwork! A rich program that connects the association’s young members and local residents with the world of art in all its forms.

The main goal of this event is to bring together artists, young people, residents, businesses, and local stakeholders to collaborate on a collective creative project centered on the theme of peace.

Two Days of Artistic Exchange

This first edition of the street art festival, organized by the Association du Site de La Défense, combines art, community, and a friendly atmosphere. From Monday, September 21, to Tuesday, September 22, 2026, young people, residents, businesses, and local stakeholders will gather on the La Défense plaza for an event dedicated to exchange and creativity. The two-day program includes:

  • live painting;
  • hands-on workshops;
  • art projects using repurposed materials;
  • meetings and discussions.

This collective experience centered on the theme of peace will allow you to express your creativity alongside street art professionals, including the patron of this first edition: Abd Al Malik. This artist, writer, and filmmaker is committed to making street art accessible to everyone by transforming it into a tool for expression, inclusion, and raising awareness.

What is ASD?

The Association du Site de La Défense (ASD), founded in 1991, aims to help young people who are struggling or have become estranged from their communities. A team of volunteer educators reaches out to these young people and supports them as they rebuild their trust in adults and institutions. The ASD focuses on four areas of intervention:

  • street outreach;
  • individual, social, and psychoeducational support;
  • group activities;
  • partnerships and local social development.

The association also offers workshops, activities, and events—such as this first edition of the Street Art Festival—thereby showcasing the talent of local youth.
