Very Food Trip: A Culinary Journey Around the World

How about a culinary journey without leaving La Défense? Thanks to Very Food Trip, it’s possible! Every year in early June, Paris La Défense’s fleet of food trucks and coffee trucks sets up shop on Place de La Défense for three days dedicated to fine dining.

Very Food Trip is a culinary festival with a casual, open-air atmosphere that brings the Place de La Défense to life for several days each spring! This year, the event will take place from Tuesday, June 2, to Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Spanning 3,500 m², the food court marks the start of the summer season in Paris La Défense. Over the years, Very Food Trip has become a must-see on the neighborhood’s event calendar thanks to its friendly spirit, festive atmosphere, and culinary discoveries.

From Italy to South America, including burgers, Caribbean cuisine, Asian street food, and delicious African flavors, this is a unique opportunity to take a complete and flavorful culinary world tour in record time—without ever leaving the venue!

Very Food Trip is also a musical event featuring local bands and up-and-coming talent from the Paris region, with music playing throughout the festival. Very Food Trip is the perfect place to meet up for lunch or dinner with friends, colleagues, or family—to enjoy great food and a drink, all set to music.

For this third edition, the food trucks of Paris La Défense set up shop on Place de La Défense. They served more than 4,700 meals over three days.

A diverse musical lineup and stage setups helped bring this moment of sharing and camaraderie to life. The open-air café vibe was in full swing thanks to the bar and amenities ranging from lounge chairs and swings to picnic tables and comfortable beanbags!
