Carré Michelet represents the first step in the renovation of the Michelet district! In 2016, Eurosic launched a major restructuring project for its office building located in the Michelet district of La Défense. The work increased the office space from 30,000 to 37,000 m², raised the height of the building, and separated it from the two adjoining buildings.

Following restructuring, the Carré Michelet building, which is not a high-rise, offers approximately 37,000 m² of workspace with amenities (restaurant, business center, fitness center, etc.), with expanded 2,700 m² floors arranged around a courtyard. Three additional levels have been created at the top: the 9th floor has been raised and a mezzanine has been created to form a large penthouse with panoramic views, accommodating new spaces. It offers 1,400 m² of outdoor space with terraces, an interior garden, and balconies. It offers an unprecedented quality of life with 90% of the space receiving direct sunlight. A large part of the complex has also been allocated to greenery.

This first project, in the heart of the Michelet district, is breathing new life into this area of the business hub, which until now has been somewhat isolated, despite the lively shops and restaurants at the foot of the buildings (DS CAFE). By the end of 2025-2026, the renovation of the Cours Michelet and its various layers of vegetation will greatly improve user comfort. Access to the Esplanade metro station will be clearer and pedestrians will be better guided. On the Boulevard Circulaire side, it will be made passable, establishing continuity between the town of Puteaux and the business district.

Carré Michelet has obtained the NF HQE Tertiary Building Exceptional Level NF380/17/1955, Wired Score Platinum, Breeam Excellent Level, and Effinergie labels and certifications.

The architecture firm Crochon Brullmann + Associés is becoming Cro&Co Architecture under the leadership of Jean-Luc Crochon, founding partner, and architect Nayla Mecattaf, former partner of Renzo Piano. She heads CroMe Studio, a laboratory dedicated to international development. Her major projects include the restructuring of the Cnit in La Défense, the extension of the Foch Hospital in Suresnes, the Paris Habitat headquarters, and the Trinity Tower in Paris La Défense.
