Typical of La Défense architecture, the layout of Les Platanes ensures continuity between the site and the center of Puteaux. With its H-shaped design and light brown glazed stoneware tile facades, the building resembles the buildings of the 1970s. The Les Platanes residence offers 215 apartments on 15 floors.

Georges Rophé (1925) is no stranger to residential buildings and sports facilities. He devoted much of his career, which began after World War II, to the towns of Meudon-la-Forêt (Hauts-de-Seine) and Montigny-le-Bretonneux (Yvelines). The Platanes residence is his only project in La Défense.
