Children Without Cancer Race on the La Défense esplanade on June 2, 2026
The City Children Without Cancer Run is back on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Paris La Défense for its 7th edition! Sign up and come run or walk 5 or 10 km during your lunch break for a good cause. This sporting and charitable event raises funds for research into childhood cancer.
Whether you walk 5 km or run 10, every participant is more than welcome because every kilometer covered helps fund research. If you want to find out more about this festive, sporting, and charitable event, then follow the route!
A festive event promoting solidarity
You can exercise while raising money for children with cancer in Paris La Défense! The Enfants sans Cancer City race invites you to join them on the forecourt. Every year, thousands of runners and walkers come together to support research into pediatric cancer. This unique experience offers three different routes:
a 5km walk,
a 5km run,
a 10km run.
There's something for everyone and every pair of sneakers!
The event also features a village, and numerous activities will take place at various points along the route, helping you forget the miles passing beneath your feet. In short, every runner and walker will be celebrated!
This year, we're fighting relapsed leukemia!
Each year, a new cause is chosen to receive the funds raised by the association. In 2026, all funds will be donated to research for the fight against pediatric cancers, in particular by financing an international study on the treatment of children with relapsed T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia. This is one of the most common types of blood cancer in children, and this very specific type of relapse has one of the lowest survival rates.
Imagine for Margo
“Go ahead, fight, win!” That's the mantra of the Imagine for Margo association! Because yes, cancer is a daily battle, and it's also the leading cause of death by disease among children over one year old in France and Europe. On average, 2,500 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, and one in five children dies from the disease. That is why the Imagine For Margo association has been fighting since 2011 and has set itself four distinct missions:
- to fund research: with more than €26 million donated to 86 research programs helping more than 8,400 children,
- to raise awareness of childhood cancer: through a major national campaign that takes place every year,
- mobilizing researchers: by carrying out actions throughout France and Europe and by attempting to mobilize and encourage public authorities and industry to take action and invest in research,
- improving the well-being of sick children: by organizing activities and funding projects that aim to improve the daily lives of children and their families.
With its charity races, which it has been organizing every year for the past seven years in Paris La Défense, Imagine For Margo gives you the opportunity to do your bit!
