Christmas lights up Paris La Défense from November 13 to December 28, 2025

From November 13 to December 28, 2025, Paris La Défense will be decked out in its finest lights to celebrate the holiday season. From the magical, snow-covered atmosphere of Place des Saisons to the butterfly field in the Valmy district and the giant Christmas tree in Place de La Défense, an enchanting journey awaits you!

If you think you saw everything there was to see at Paris La Défense last year, think again! New decorations will be joining those you already know.
On La Défense square, a swarm of luminous butterflies takes flight from the giant Christmas tree, while others flutter across the Chemetov footbridge. On Agam square, a tree seems to have swapped its leaves for fireworks, while a giant teddy bear takes up residence in the center of Place des Saisons, ready to pose for your best souvenir photos.

Everything has been carefully designed to allow you to immerse yourself in a dreamlike world, to stroll through a waking dream. It's an escape into a magical, fairy-tale landscape that you can experience without leaving the neighborhood. As you stroll along, you will pass a flurry of butterflies in the Valmy neighborhood, admire hundreds of sparkling snowflakes on the trees of the esplanade, and witness a golden cascade in the Takis basin. This walk will allow you to (re)discover the neighborhood from a different angle!

Lighting up the neighborhood, yes, but only if it protects the planet! Paris La Défense remains true to its purpose and invests in lighting that limits its impact on the environment. The lights are made up of 100% low-energy LEDs, and the lighting schedule can be adjusted to limit unnecessary energy use!
