Christmas lights up Paris La Défense from November 12, 2026 to January 14, 2027
From Thursday, November 12, 2026 to Thursday, January 14, 2027, Paris La Défense will be adorned with its most beautiful illuminations to celebrate the end-of-year holidays. From the magical and snowy atmosphere of the Place des Saisons to the butterfly field in the Valmy district, passing by the giant Christmas tree at the Place de la Défense, it’s an enchanting journey that awaits you!
This year, some new features are appearing in the different districts of La Défense! If you want to know more, follow the light!
New illuminations to discover
If you thought you had already discovered all the illuminations of Paris La Défense last year, know that new things are waiting for you!
The Valmy district, already inhabited by a cloud of butterflies, will welcome more this year.
On the Place des Saisons, a ski teddy had already appeared. This year, a new bear appears to allow you to take your best souvenir photos with him, while in the Boieldieu district, fawns settle. These little "bambis" will make you go back to your childhood!
A magical immersion
As every year, the illuminations of the business district have been designed to allow you to immerse yourself in a dreamlike universe. Go for a walk and embark on a magical journey, without leaving the business district. During your walk, you will pass in front of a flight of butterflies on the Valmy district, admire those which are at the heart of the giant fir tree of the place de la Défense, and assist to a golden cascade in the basin Takis. A walk that will allow you to (re)discover the business district from another angle!

Discover an immersive play
The "Lost of the forest" need you! These magical creatures have landed in our world and are desperately trying to find their way home. This immersive and interactive storytelling walk will take you to the middle of towers and illuminations for a quest full of color.

Visit the Legend Tower
After discovering the Christmas lights from the ground, we offer you the unique experience of discovering them from the top of the Legend tower! On two occasions, one of the most emblematic towers of the business district opens its doors to you for a panoramic and dizzying view on the colors of Christmas in Paris La Défense!
Eco-responsibility at the heart of concerns
Illuminate the neighborhood, yes, but only if we preserve the planet! Paris La Défense remains in line with its raison d'être and invests in lighting solutions that limit their impact on the environment. The illuminations are made of 100% low consumption LEDs and the ignition times are adjustable to limit unnecessary energy use!
