The Christmas market ice rink is back on the square

Paris La Défense will be buzzing from Thursday, November 13, until Sunday, December 28, 2025, with the opening of its Christmas market... and its ice rink! Yes, the ice rink is making a comeback on the La Défense esplanade, to everyone's delight!

Bigger, with a new location and new decorations... this year's ice rink promises to be even more magical! We reveal all its secrets.

For this new year, the ice rink is thinking big and pushing the boundaries of skating! There are 540 m² of real ice (yes, real ice awaits you) covering the forecourt of La Défense, in a new location at the end of the forecourt, close to Place de La Défense, to delight young and old alike! It's a guaranteed return to childhood, with magic and enchantment guaranteed! Imagine skating with friends or family at the foot of the La Défense towers, in an unreal setting, in the largest Christmas market in the Île-de-France region... it's the stuff of dreams, isn't it?

So don't forget your gloves (mandatory), your good humor, and your Christmas spirit, and come glide across the La Défense plaza!

Beyond the ice rink, you'll find yourself in the heart of a real Christmas market. You'll stroll among the craft stalls, in aisles each as magical as the next, with a raclette sandwich in one hand and mulled wine in the other. So, treat yourself to this typical holiday season activity!

Admission fee:

• Monday to Friday before 5pm, except Wednesday afternoons.
  • €10 per adult;
  • €6 per child;
  • €2.50 skate hire.
• Monday to Friday after 5pm, Wednesday afternoons and weekends.
  • €12.50 per adult;
  • €8 per child;
  • €2.50 skate hire.

Opening hours:

• Monday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.;
• Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
• Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.;
• Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.;
• Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Exceptions:

• Wednesday, December 24, 2025: open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
• Thursday, December 25, 2025: closed.
