From Thursday, September 10, through Saturday, September 12, 2026, Place de La Défense will be donning its most glittery leotard and inviting you to hit the rink… for roller skating! The Roller Disco Party is taking over the heart of the business district with its glitter and catchy disco-funk tunes!

Just imagine slipping on your glittery roller skates and cruising—hair blowing in the wind—at the foot of the towers in La Défense… That’s exactly what we’re offering you, courtesy of Martine Patine! There’ll be a DJ set and roller skates galore. If that sounds like your kind of thing, then follow the guide!

Three days that went like a charm

The Roller Disco Party is coming to Place de La Défense from Thursday, September 10, through Saturday, September 12, 2026, with all its glitter and bright colors! Take a trip back to the ’70s as you lace up your roller skates on a 500 m² outdoor rink. The Martine Patine collective and DJ sets will set the pace for your experience on the rink!

Two makeup artists will be on hand to help you get into character with plenty of glitter. In fact, glittery outfits are highly recommended for a fully immersive experience.
As you can see, retro outfits, disco-funk music, glitter, and makeup—that’s what our Roller Disco Party promises!

A lively and vibrant neighborhood

The Roller Disco Party proves once again that Paris La Défense is not just a business district! Throughout the year, events liven up the daily lives of commuters and residents in the area. Major events such as the largest Christmas market in Île-de-France, the Very Food Trip food truck festival, and the music-focused summer festival Garden Parvis bring the area to life on the La Défense plaza and forekourt.
