Rose de Cherbourg: photo exhibition starting October 29, 2025
Have you heard about the Grand Paris Express project? The one that aims to extend line 14 and create lines 15, 16, 17, and 18? To prepare for the arrival of line 15 in the business district, work began a few weeks ago! If you would like to find out more about the planned developments and the construction of the new station, the Société des Grands Projets (SGP) is organizing an exhibition in the Rose de Cherbourg district from October 29, 2025, to January 29, 2026.
The exhibition “Le Grand Paris Express s'écrit aujourd'hui” (The Grand Paris Express is being written today) is being held in the business district to prepare for the arrival of the new Société des Grands Projets station and the work planned for this occasion. Want to find out more about the future of the district? Head to the Rose de Cherbourg promenade.
“The Grand Paris Express is being written today”
The Promenade de la Rose in Cherbourg is hosting a new free photo exhibition. The location was not chosen at random, as this new district of Puteaux will be home to the new station on line 15, just a few minutes from the center of the business district. This exhibition traces and recounts the 15 years of work involved in the Grand Paris Express project and the future Puteaux – La Défense station. It's the perfect opportunity to discover and imagine the Rose de Cherbourg neighborhood in the future!
What does the future hold for the neighborhood?
The new Puteaux–La Défense station will transform the neighborhood's landscape. It will turn Place Louise Bourgeois into a new living space, integrated into the Paris La Défense redevelopment project, to create a harmonious and welcoming entrance to the city, open to all. The station has been designed as a simple, bright space with a green roof that extends the viaduct project. In addition, an architect-artist duo has been hired to design works that blend perfectly with the architecture inside the station.
The addition of this new metro line to the area completes an already well-developed transport network in the business district and once again puts the spotlight on sustainable mobility.
This station is therefore an important element, as it will add a new dynamic to Place Louise Bourgeois, but it will also become a symbol of accessibility and speed for users in the area.
