Action Finally Arrives at the Westfield CNIT Mall

Calling all fans of great deals and low prices: Action is finally coming to the business district! The Dutch non-food discount retailer is setting up shop in the Westfield CNIT shopping center. The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026.

From home decor to cleaning supplies, DIY products, and toys—you’ll find all these items at low prices at Action. This new store opening is also a great opportunity to discover or rediscover the shops located in the Westfield Les 4 Temps – CNIT shopping centers.

The highly anticipated arrival of Action and new stores

The Action store will open its doors on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in a space of approximately 1,100 m². It will take the place of the former Habitat store, which closed in December 2023. There, you’ll find the usual products offered by this non-food discount retailer, including items for indoor and outdoor decor, home maintenance, automotive supplies, textiles, toys, pet accessories, and a few treats…

Action joins other similar brands already established in the shopping center, such as Normal, which has locations at Westfield Les 4 Temps and Westfield CNIT. This opening is accompanied in June by the following:

  • Toca Social, located on Level -2 at Westfield CNIT. It’s a place to have fun playing soccer using immersive technologies;
  • Crocs, the brand known for its colorful and customizable shoes, which is opening its first non-outlet store in France on Level 2 of Westfield Les 4 Temps;
  • Jack & Jones, a men’s casual fashion store, located on Level 1 of Westfield Les 4 Temps.

The CNIT, a historic and recently renovated shopping center

The CNIT, the first building constructed in La Défense, was inaugurated in 1958. Designed by architects Jean de Mailly, Robert Camelot, and Bernard Zehrfuss, it is known for its vaulted ceiling, which is still considered an architectural feat.

After two major renovations, in 1988 and then in 2009, the building has undergone another transformation in recent years. Following several years of construction, the expansion of the shopping center was inaugurated in May 2024. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield unveiled a new 9,000 m² space on Level -2, featuring 45 new stores and restaurants, bringing the total retail space to over 37,400 m². This expansion coincided with the opening of the new RER E station, La Défense - Grande Arche.
