Paris La Défense Is Looking for New Food Trucks

Paris La Défense has issued a call for applications to select the food trucks and coffee trucks that will set up shop in the area in 2027 and 2028. The organization is seeking 18 food trucks and 2 coffee trucks to refresh and diversify the dining options available to visitors to the area.

For its 11th season, Paris La Défense is seeking food trucks and coffee trucks to join its fleet for the next two years. They will be distributed across four locations in the business district between mid-January and mid-December.

A street food offering that has become a must-try

For the past ten years, food trucks have become a fixture in the heart of Paris La Défense and have won over the area’s visitors. For its 11th season, Paris La Défense is launching a new call for applications to select 18 food trucks and 2 coffee trucks.

The food trucks will be open on weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the coffee trucks from 7:30 a.m. to at least 2:30 p.m. They will be spread across four strategic locations: Cours Valmy, the Grande Arche plaza, Place de La Défense, and the Centre plaza. Additional locations may also be made available during the operating period.

Every day, 10 food trucks will be set up in the area to offer a varied selection to users of the business district, which includes employees, residents, students, and visitors.

A diverse selection tailored to different needs

To meet customer expectations, each food truck must offer at least two different lunch dishes—including one vegetarian option—as well as a dessert and a beverage menu. At least two payment methods must also be available.

Coffee trucks, meanwhile, must offer a breakfast menu that includes at least two different hot beverages, three types of coffee, one cold beverage, and a food item.

Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the products, the suitability of the offerings for the intended use, and the presentation of the dishes.

Environmental considerations will also be taken into account, with particular attention paid to the vehicle used, biodegradable materials, and waste management.

Please note: Selected food trucks must operate for a minimum of 70 days in 2027, then 80 days in 2028. For the 2027 season, trucks will be on-site from January 18 through December 17, and from January 17 through December 15, 2028.
