Rules governing the use of the public domain for economic activities

The occupation of the public domain of Paris La Défense for the exercise of an economic activity is regulated by the French Code général de la propriété des personnes publiques (the General Public Property Code).

Economic activities include:

• promotional, artistic, cultural, and sporting events;
• commercial operations;
• promotional operations with or without sales,
• shots (video, photo, drone) for an advertising or film shoot.

For economic activities whose occupation of the public domain is subject to a prior selection process, please find all calls for projects, advertising notices following a spontaneous expression of interest by the establishment, as well as award notifications.

For economic activities occupying the public domain in a surface area of less than or equal to 600 m² (6458 ft²) and lasting no longer than a month, consult the General Terms and Conditions governing the procedures for granting a permit to occupy the public domain of Paris La Défense, the associated pricing details and the application form.
