The Boieldieu neighborhood is getting a brand-new playground
After several months of construction, the Boieldieu playground is reopening! This new community space, located in the heart of Marceline Sebalt Park, has become a true haven of peace where children can play safely.
The Marceline Sebalt Garden has been redesigned by the City of Puteaux and its residents to provide a new space for gathering and interaction, as well as a new, safe playground.
A New Playground for the Boieldieu Neighborhood
This new playground features a wide range of facilities designed to appeal to everyone! The shapes and layout of this new space are inspired by the world of insects. The park is equipped with playhouses, trampolines, slides, and swings, suitable for children ages 1 to 15. Whether walking, running, or climbing, this green space becomes a playground where adventure and play reign supreme!
The renovation work has expanded the green spaces in Marceline Sebalt Garden and transformed the park’s surroundings with a new area planted with irises, ensuring extended periods of blooming.
A project designed by and for the residents
This project emerged from a collaborative effort with the City of Puteaux and its residents, with the aim of creating a space that meets everyone’s expectations and needs. Designed to become an integral part of daily life for local residents and visitors alike, this garden is intended to serve as a vibrant hub for socializing and gathering. Benches and lounge chairs allow park visitors to sit comfortably while watching their children, enjoying a quiet moment, or turning their visit into a special gathering place.
During the construction phase, sustainable practices were incorporated into the project, such as the reuse of materials. Additionally, the site was redesigned with more permeable paving to promote rainwater infiltration and reduce the risk of flooding.
