Discover the 2025 vintage of restaurants to try in the neighborhood!

That's it, September is coming to an end, and with it the back-to-school period. A good opportunity for us to take stock of what's new, and today we're going to talk about restaurants! If you thought you already knew everything there was to know about the area's culinary offerings, we have some new places to share with you this year... and there's more to come!

Italian, French, Asian specialties... Nearly twenty new restaurants have opened their doors in 2025 in Paris La Défense, bringing the total number of restaurants in the neighborhood to over 200.  Would you like to discover them?

An offer that will make your mouth water

As you will see, it's safe to say that the newcomers have spread the word not to offer the same thing twice!

Among the unusual and gourmet restaurants, we find the Vatel hotel school and its training restaurant, which recently opened on the top floors of the Aurore tower. With a menu starting at €35, this panoramic space is the ideal place for a business lunch. At the foot of the same tower, the Stripe coffee shop and its terrace invite you to enjoy a quick, homemade meal!

New businesses have also appeared around Table Square on the La Défense esplanade! Maison Pradier offers French fast food, while Kaiju Ramen takes you on a journey to Japan without leaving La Défense. Finally, the Honest Greens restaurant, which is set to open before the end of the year, will offer a healthy and balanced concept, with products guaranteed to be organic and ethically sourced.

As you probably know, the La Défense esplanade is undergoing a major transformation project. During the work, the shops remain open, which is good news because two Asian restaurants have opened there! We invite you to discover Korean street food at Chingoo, or embark on a culinary journey through China at Yuki, a Sichuan noodle restaurant.

You've probably already heard of Mister Garden? The custom salad bar is opening a fourth location in the Passage de l'Arche, proof that the concept is still going strong eight years after the first restaurant opened.

In the same vein, after Pause Salade and Pause Pasta, the Pause Grill concept is setting up shop next to the other two in the Reflets neighborhood, creating a veritable food court! Here, it's simple, family-friendly, and meat-focused. You can enjoy skewers of marinated meat grilled to order, accompanied by homemade sauces.

If you're already familiar with the Irish pub Corcoran's, you'll love this new spot: Duke's British Brasserie at the foot of the Altiplano building in the Villon neighborhood! With its modern decor, this English pub-style brasserie will transport you straight to the United Kingdom.

Finally, Nanterre is not to be outdone! Two new restaurants have opened in the Parc Nord neighborhood. The first, the restaurant at the Novotel Paris La Défense Nanterre, is called Papille and invites you to enjoy traditional French cuisine.

The second, close to Paris La Défense Arena, has a “canteen” feel. Ben's & Coffee has a concept all its own: a place that is at once a brasserie, fast food restaurant, and gourmet eatery. In other words, there's something for everyone!

A dynamism Made in Paris La Défense

Five years after Covid, these openings reflect the dynamics at work in Paris La Défense: an active real estate market, stabilization of remote working, and greater diversity in the neighborhood. Since the beginning of 2025, 19 restaurants have already opened across 5,000 square meters, representing a renewal of around 10% of the neighborhood's offering.

As you can see, Paris La Défense is a constantly evolving area, and this new range of restaurants is a testament to its attractiveness, encouraging more and more people to settle there. Today, there are more than 200 restaurants offering a variety of cuisines (27% French cuisine, 18% sandwiches and salads, 18% Asian specialties, 9% Italian or Greek specialties, etc.), not to mention its fleet of traveling food trucks. The types of establishments also reflect the great diversity of the neighborhood: 32% restaurants, 25% fast food outlets, 26% bars, 13% cafés, 4% food trucks, etc. And 65% of establishments have a terrace!
But above all, it's an offering that adapts to you! More and more restaurants are opening their doors not only at lunchtime, but also in the evening (61%) and at weekends (48%).

This new dynamic makes Paris La Défense much more than just a place to work, but also a place to live for its 200,000 employees, 70,000 students, and 50,000 residents who pass through the area every day!
