Möbius acrobatic show on June 9, 2026, La Défense esplanade
As part of the 2026 season of Les Extatiques, during two special performances on June 9, 2026, the La Défense esplanade will be transformed into an aerial stage. Möbius invites you to discover poetic and spectacular acrobatics, freely visible to all.
On Tuesday, June 9, Collectif XY presents Möbius, an outdoor show where the city becomes a living stage. On the forecourt of La Défense, at the foot of La Grande Arche, acrobats will defy gravity to create a poetic dialogue with urban architecture. This suspended moment, transforming routine into wonder, will invite the public to see La Défense in a new light.
Two spectacular and poetic performances
Daylight illuminates the movements of some twenty artists, offering an original immersion into everyday urban life. Each figure, each leap, interacts with passersby and the glass and concrete towers.
The Collectif XY transforms the verticality of the neighborhood into a playground, where acrobatics become language and each spectator can feel the poetry of the moment. With Möbius, Collectif XY shifts reality into a fascinating otherworld.
And throughout the week, from June 8 to 12, 2026, you will also have the opportunity to encounter the collective, which will take you on a journey through the neighborhoods of La Défense!

The XY Collective: the magic of bodies in motion
Bringing together Circassian tradition and contemporary creation, Collectif XY works with acrobatic disciplines to create a movement art that goes far beyond the classical circus. With large teams, the artists multiply the possibilities and explore all dimensions of space while questioning the relationship between the individual and the group, the mass and the movement. Each performance is a visual and physical language where technique, poetry, and inventiveness come together.
XY is accredited by the Ministry of Culture, supported by the BNP-Paribas Foundation, and associated with national partner venues.
