Parc Construction Site: Work near Neuilly Défense, CB21, and Metro Line 1 Esplanade

Paris La Défense is continuing the second phase of work on the Park, which began in January 2026. Since February 2026, work to replace slabs and repair waterproofing has been underway in Zone 2 near Neuilly Défense, as well as in Zone 3 at the CB21 staircase-ramp (work is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2026). Starting June 29, 2026, work will begin in new areas: Zone 4, connecting Neuilly Défense and CB21, as well as Zone 5, covering Les Tilleuls and the metro station.

• Establishment of the construction zone,
• Removal of street furniture,
• Removal of slabs and curbstones,
• Cleaning and installation of new waterproofing,
• Installation of the drainage layer and lightweight backfill,
• Installation of utility lines,
• Laying of new slabs,
• Installation of street furniture.

This phased approach allows work to proceed in a coordinated manner while maintaining normal use and traffic flow as much as possible. The area will also be subdivided into phases to maintain access to the Résidence Neuilly-Défense and the Iris neighborhood.

• Establishment of the construction zone,
• Preparatory work: demolition, earthwork, and removal of existing structures.
• Waterproofing work and substrate preparation.
• In some areas, a drainage layer and lightweight backfill will be installed; in others, new pedestals will be installed.
• Routing and connection of utility lines and sewer systems.
• Installation of slabs on pedestals and sealed slabs.
• Installation of street furniture and equipment.
• Planting and landscaping.

Access to the buildings and the Line 1 metro station, as well as the emergency exits, will remain open throughout the duration of the construction project.

The start of construction in Zone 5 – Tilleuls and Metro is contingent upon the completion of work and the opening to the public of Zone 3 – CB21 Stairway/Ramp.

Construction hours:
Monday through Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM. No noisy work before 8:00 AM or between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. No work on weekends or holidays.
