Helicopter rescue on the Acacia tower
Dear Sir or Madam,
The Acacia building is currently undergoing renovation work (facade and interiors) for a period of 11 months. To enable the installation of “central air handling units” on the roof of the building, which will manage the air quality in the renovated building, a helicopter winching operation will take place on Saturday, October 18.
To ensure that this operation is carried out in the safest possible conditions for everyone, part of the esplanade will be closed to public traffic from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the same reasons, access no. 1 Courbevoie-Iris of the Esplanade metro station will be inaccessible on Saturday, October 18 until the end of the operation. Detours will be indicated on site and traffic marshals will be on hand to assist you if necessary.
Finally, the actual helicopter rescue operation will last a maximum of two hours, once the sun has risen, and will in principle take place in the morning. The exact time slot will depend in particular on weather conditions. Part of the esplanade around the construction site will be closed off with barriers. Traffic marshals will manage pedestrian traffic (see map).
