Michelet: Summer Update on Public Space Projects

Development work in the Michelet neighborhood is continuing, allowing several spaces to be gradually reopened to the public.

Key Milestones of the Construction Project

The plaza in front of the République elevator on Cours Michelet is now clear of major construction obstacles. Only a temporary storage area remains at this stage and is expected to be cleared in September.

The area around The Link tower is also fully accessible again all the way to the Orme footbridge, offering a more open and comfortable environment for users.

Work in Progress

Within the areas still under construction, paving work on the promenade is continuing in the western section, in front of the
escalators.

This phase of the project is expected to be completed this summer, allowing for the reopening of this space.

As part of these improvements, paving work will begin shortly in the area in front of the restaurants. The partial reopening of this space to the public is also planned for the summer.

Upcoming Projects

Asphalt paving work (week of June 29): The work involves laying the final layer of asphalt in the Michelet public spaces, as well as improvements to the Lower Plaza in front of The Link tower.

Finally, to improve pedestrian connectivity and facilitate daily travel, a new pedestrian crossing will be built this summer between the République plaza and the town of Puteaux. This project will help improve connections and the quality of pedestrian routes in this rapidly changing area.
