Work on the Opus 12 Tower: Helicopter hoisting on Saturday, May 16, 2026

The OPUS 12 building is currently undergoing construction for a period of 18 months. To facilitate the installation of a rooftop crane on the building’s roof—which will manage the delivery of materials for the renovation of the spaces and the creation of a terrace for the tower’s residents—a helicopter hoisting operation will take place this Saturday, May 16, 2026.

To ensure this is carried out under the safest possible conditions for everyone, part of the esplanade will be closed to public traffic from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Detours will be posted on-site, and traffic controllers will assist you if needed.
Finally, the actual helicopter hoisting operation will last a maximum of 2 hours and is expected to begin around 8:30 a.m. The exact time frame will depend largely on weather conditions.

Opus 12 Construction Schedule:

• May–June 2026: Site setup at SS-2 + CRANE ERECTION
• June–November 2026: Work to add one story to the R27 mechanical room and modernization work on floors SS-1, R+1, and R+26
• September 2026 to June 2027: Modernization work on the Ground Floor (RDC), SS-2, SS-3, and SS-4 levels.
• March 2026 to February 2028: Work and modernization of the elevators
