A magical Christmas in Paris La Défense from November 13 to December 28, 2025

Paris La Défense is transforming itself for the Christmas season, from November 13 to December 28, 2025. It is swapping its concrete slab for a blanket of lights, chalets, ice, and entertainment for 45 days of celebrations! Are you ready?

Christmas will be even bigger this year at Paris La Défense, as evidenced by the wonderful program of events that awaits you! Here's a quick overview.

The Christmas market celebrates its 30th anniversary!

And to celebrate this anniversary in style, the program kicks off with Christmas hats and an opening night event on Friday, November 14 at 8:30 p.m. featuring a concert by the band Pimp My Night. It's the perfect opportunity to dance in an enchanting setting to the biggest hits of the 2000s!
New features and surprises at the market are also in store from November 13 to December 28, 2025. More than 300 chalets will be set up on the square. Among them, you will find all kinds of shops, artisans and their handmade creations, four rides (including two new ones), themed areas, and, above all, food stands typical of the winter season, with a 3,500-square-foot Savoyard stand this year.

In terms of entertainment, you'll find characters wandering around, each more magical than the last, a wide variety of songs, after-work events, creative workshops and charity events, quizzes on different themes, and lots of other surprises! Father and Mother Christmas will even be at the market to meet you (yes, the real ones)!

It slides on the ice floe

The ice rink is back at the Christmas market! But this year, there's 100 m² more natural ice, bringing the total to no less than 540 m². Isn't this the ideal (and most typical) activity to enjoy during the Christmas season? Stroll around, grab a delicious raclette sandwich and a glass of mulled wine... then head to the ice rink to glide across the ice in this unique setting!

Christmas for everyone

What would Christmas in Paris La Défense be without solidarity? As you know, every year, the Espace Info Paris La Défense is waiting for you to bring a little magic to people in need. From November 13 to December 28, 2025, you will have the opportunity to contribute by participating in the Boites solidaires (Solidarity Boxes) operation organized by the Association du site de La Défense, or in the Pères Noëls Verts (Green Santa Clauses) operation organized by Secours Populaire des Hauts-de-Seine.

La Salle à Manger, La Défense's solidarity restaurant, is also getting involved and offering three special lunch menus from December 1 to 23, 2025, to help fund the same meal for someone in the neighborhood who is in a very precarious situation!

Environmental responsibility and sustainability

Once again this year, Paris La Défense is focusing on a sustainable and responsible approach.
Firstly, you will find collection points for reusable cups throughout the market. When you return your cup to the collection point, you will have the choice of either getting your deposit back or donating it to the event's partner charities. A doubly virtuous system! The market also promotes craftsmanship, showcasing unique skills and expertise.

Energy use for lighting in the district is optimized. All lighting is designed using 100% low-energy LEDs, and lighting schedules can be adjusted to save energy.
